My video card , ATI Technologies 3D RAGE ll +PCI with 1 meg ram in
a 10 year old Sony PCV-150 with HD 4.3 Gigs , died . I have sent for
Diablotek ATI Rage XL Video Card - 8MB SDRAM, PCI, VGA, Video Card
from Tiger Direct.
From research on Google the bulk of information seems to say that
the drivers of the old card must first be uninstalled before the new card
is installed . The dilemma is that the old card is dead..hence no display.
How then are the drivers uninstalled ? Is there a way around this
problem ? Thanks for any imput.
