Death of the ATI Brand

So looking at new reports for the Radeon series, I notice they say AMD's Radeon 4000 series and what not. So is AMD pretty much trying to getting rid of the ATI brand?

They are the same company, AMD is just tagging their name on it.

Yea I know AMD bought ATI but when one company buys another there is always the option to either keep the brand name of the subsidy or completely rebrand it with the parent brand. So I was pretty much wondering if anyone had any new info about that happening with AMD and ATI.
 
When Cisco bought out Linksys they didn't change a thing about the company other than slap their logo on it, happens all the time.
