Debating between two laptops: one w/ better CPU, one w/ better GPU

So Laptop 1 has an Intel Core i3-3110M, 4GB RAM, and a GeForce GT 640M LE 2GB GPU

Laptop 2 has a quad core A8-A4500M, 8GB RAM, and a Radeon HD 8750M 2GB GPU

They are both shit but a friend in Eastern Europe is purchasing them so it's probably all they have available.

Which would you choose assuming they are the same price?
 
i3-3110 > A8-4500m according to cpubenchmark.net. However, A8 is a quad core

According to notebookcheck.net, 8750m is slightly slower than GT640m, while GT 640m LE similar to GT 635m. So, 8750m > GT 640m LE

Those 2 laptop seems to be having similar performance
What brand & model? If they are different brand, your friend can choose based on brand reputation/ quality/ battery life/ weight, etc.
