Decent cooling system needed

I am looking in to putting water cooling in to my system soon as I haven't been able to use it cuz my cpu was getting to over 212F. My system is listed below, I am trying to stay $150 budget for water cooling, But if I have to spend more I will. Tell me what you think I should buy, System Specks:

Intel i5 quad core 2.66ghz

4GB DDR3 Ram

Segate 500GB HD, Segate 120GB HD

Nvidia 9800GT 1GB Graphics

Ocz 500WATT PSU

Gigabyte P55- USB 3.0 mobo

Windows 7 home premium x64

case: NZXT Lexa

I would just go and get a Thermalright Venomous-X. $150 will buy you a pump(d5 with stock top or ddc 3.2 without aftermarket top), a cpu block and maybe tubing/shipping.

You can find links very easily on this stuff:

Thermalright Venomous X
Thermalright TRUE
Prolimatech Megahalems
Prolimatech Armageddon
Cooler Master Hyper 212+
Cooler Master V8
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
Most Noctua Coolers

150$ isn't going to get you a loop. It could get you a mean push-pull on a Corsair H50's radiator, but enclosed loops aren't the greatest. I'm not sure about the sizing on the Lexa, but there are two coolers out there that are MASSIVE and could make use of your 150$. Here they are:

With the first one, you only get one fan and it's not a very great one. You could use the remainder to get some higher quality fans like Yate Loons, CM Excaliburs, Scythe Ultra Kazes, other Scythe fans, etc...

But you say a "Decent" system... the ones I'm listing above are well above decent. For 150$, you're able to get far outside of the decent range.

Thanks everyone for there input, Would getting a kit be the best way to go right now concerting the price range? our is it wise to buy all parts separately? Not sure as I haven't dont water cooling yet.

Are you still talking about watercooling? 150$ isn't going to get you a half-decent loop. The money that could go into a self-contained unit like the H50 could go into something more reliable like the stuff I posted above. I speak for a lot of people when I say self-contained units don't maintain their out-of-box performance for very long.

I'm sorry, but 150$ isn't going to get you a custom loop and an enclosed loop isn't worth getting. You'd do better just getting a really nice heatsink with some high quality fans.

$150 won't get you much in the way of a custom loop unless you search used for alot of stuff. It might be doable if you can find some decent deals for a used pump/rad/block.

(Dannas, throw me a message on msn or text me)

ive been using a h50...its been pretty decent to me, i just think i need a better push fan for it, the stock fan just doesnt seem to get my temps down well enough
