hello, i have just bought an nzxt nemesis case (www.nzxt.com) and im looking for a decent motherboard for it. It will have to be a high end board for an amd chip but not high end prices, ive been looking myself but im not entirely sure which kind i should get, any ideas..?

Are you planinng on using all your existing components or you looking to cahnge to more current technology?
It would be a shame to get a high end mobo and use old technology.
What cpu chip are you using now? Socket A, soclet 754 or socket 939.
High end boards won't be too freindly with your mixed Ram. And are you willing to get into PCI-E video card or stay with what you have.
Need more info to make a recommendation.

no its going to be a completely new high end system. The only thing i have so far is the NZXT Nemesis with 2 120mm cooling fans ;)
im looking to get an amd processsor but not sure which is best. im going to spend around £100-£125 on a mobo and around £200 on a proccessor.
I have found a board which is Socket 939 and supports AMD Athlon64/ 64 FX. To me this looks like the board for me but i realy am not sure. i have read the Building Computers 101 but still need some feedback from you experts. thanks

i live in the uk, i dont think they will ship on newegg. ill use whichever one is better. is pcie better than agp for gaming? this is where i need you guys.

well.. there isnt a diffrence in performance.. (at least.. not mentionable )
but, pci-express is newer, and if you want to get one of the newest geforce 7 series cards, you'll need pci-e.
however.. you cant use the card of an opd pc, because im shure its agp or pci ;)
so, if you are going for pci-e, you have to buy a new grafics card.

I'm not a big fan of Asus or Gigabyte myself. I would try to find a site that has MSI, Abit and DFI boards as an alternative. I just completed a build using an Abit AV8 and it is excellent. The AV8 has an AGP slot but they make one with pci-e for about the same price.
