This motherboard is in a CPU/Motherboard/RAM combo I'm buying. Looks like it's a pretty good motherboard for gaming, but I want to know how well helps with OCing a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Quad.

The P35-DS3L motherboard overclocks like a champ. I'm running it right now and got a very easy 900MHz overclock on my E2160. It will certainly let you OC your Q6600 to around 3.0GHz if you get the G0 stepping.
