decent ram?

hey guys and gals, just curious as to your opinions on using 6 of these bad boys

in my new build, im thinking of the evga x58 classified 4-way sli or the ASUS P6X58D Premium, its a toss up i could run triple sli with room to spare in one, and the other (asus) has some serious futurproofing ( usb 3.0, sata 6), they can both run these rams nativly at 16000 mhz i think it is. so six would give me 24gb of ram, any and all opinions are welcome thanks :D
 
It is excessive and deffinately not future prrof. Sure, maybe computers won't be using that much memory as standard for some time to come, but how long do you think the i7 will be at the top? A year or so at most, then it will be high end, not enthusiast, 18 months, it will be standard.

Your 4 way SLI, a year or two down the line dual SLI will match up to that with high end cards.

If you want to spend the money, go for it, it is good memory
