I'm wondering if I should get 800 or 533.
I guess 800 is better but why ? I dont know jack about the memory clock speed...

i think you should go with 533.

according to google the 533 mhz, or 800 mhz is how many million data transfers it can do per second.

so obviously 800 is better. but depending what the pricing is, i wouldnt bother using 800 unless it isnt too much more expensive.

you could always go for 667 mhz. lol

The ddr2 pc-6400 (800 mhz) are very inexpensive as low as $54 for a 2gb set (2x1gb.)
I have seen ddr2 800mhz ram on newegg as low as $26 per gig. The lower speed ram seems to be the same price. 800 mhz is pretty much the industry standard.

Thanks. I've been here for 6 hrs or something and I have found great answers.
Hands down to all of you for being that helpful :)

It depends upon your mobo.If you mobo support upto 533mhz then installing 800mhz speed ram is useless,it won't work in 800.
