DEEP scratch on see-thru panel in case

Earlier today, I was doing my weekly open-up-the-computer-and-blow-out-the-stupid-amount-of-dust-that-managed-to-accumulate-over-the-course-of-the-week routine, and when I went to remove the 140MM fan from the side of the case, I dropped the panel on the floor and covered the see-thru plastic/glass in DEEP, and I mean VISIBLY DEEP, scratches. Am I screwed for eternity with this or is there a way I can fill the scratches/buff them out? I am short on cash so I can't blow out my pockets on this.

A deep scratch won`t be buffed out, Although if you are the handy type you can simply but some perspex and cut a new windows using the old one as a template.

step one measure the plexi glass piece that you scratched from inside the case
step two go to lowes. they will cut the piece to your liking, i even had the guy cut it before i bought it. his cut didnt break perfectly but it wasnt visibile from the outside of the case so i didnt ask him to cut a different piece.
step three remove plexi-glass from the side panel
step four use double sided tape and tape it in there.

should cost <$15

Does it really matter at the end of the day? My side panel window is full of scratches. I've owned that case for 4 years. It's just general wear and tear that you have to expect.

I don't think it helps that you remove the side panel every week either. You probably put the side panel on the floor whilst you're working inside the PC and that's probably also contributing to the scratches as the side panel gets rubbed across the floor etc.
