Unless your graphics card has an onboard probe, I don't think there is a way to check it without putting a probe near the graphics card.
What card is it. Some card have software bundled with their cards to measure temp.
You will need an external probe if you want to measure it's temperature. Geforce 2s defiently dont have an internal probe, they also don't need one, they can run with a passive heatsink just fine.
