Default to Yahoo Mail?

I have Internet Explorer 9, installed, & Windows 7.
When I click on a link that requires to send or look at an email, or the read Mail icon in the Toolbar, it goes to Windows Live Mail which I do not use. How can I get it to default to Yahoo mail?
This does not seem a problem on my old PC with Windows XP
 
Go into internet options and go into the programs tab. Change the email program. Yahoo may not show up though.
 
Johnb35; you are correct Yahoo is not there
Wolfeymole; i do not want to get at it fast, I want other programms to link to Yahoo Mail and not Windows mail. eg if I want to contact support it has their email installed in the To: box, but goes to W Live, presently I must copy their email address and put onto Yahoo To; box to send

Do you happen to use Google Chrome? If not, I recommend that over IE or FF. If so, then there is an extension [ https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bdpppfbclmfkmagnfcpakfgabnghfdmi] that will make mailto links [clickable emails] default to yahoo!. I use a similar one for Gmail mailto. And you can just make a URL shortcut to Yahoo on your taskbar if you want..
