Defrag in Windows XP

Hello, I thought there was a free disk defrag tool in Windows XP? When I click on the defrag tool im sent to "Diskkeeper Lite" page. It scans my HD and tells me I need to defrag. I click Defrag drive and im sent to a "Diskkeeper Lite" page again where it tells me to pay $29 for the program.

Anyone know what this is all about?

Thank you

I'd recommend uninstalling Diskkeeper first (it should be in add/remove programs), unless you plan to pay for it it's just taking up needless space. That should also let you use the built-in defrag tool.

You can use Disk defragmenter from CMD:

defrag.exe C: /F /V

"C:" is the drive letter you want to defragment.

Cheers!
