Defrag Vista

So a buddy was telling me this Perfect Disk is a great software to have for defrag and I was curious what you all thought of it.

I am not looking for anything fancy but the Vista Defrag is making me wonder if its actually doing a good job.

I have heard some things about Vista not doing a 100% defrag...it skips over smaller files etc etc.

Just curious if its true...and a good program to use for defrags.

Not only has Windows never done a good job of defragging, it also cost me
120Gigs of data I had stored, as Windows Defrag locked my old pc and forced
me to hard kill it. Upon reboot, the drive was corrupt and I lost everything.

I've used Perfect Disc and it works great.

Defraggler is also excellent.

I can also vouch for Auslogics disk defragmenter. I use this program and my disk defragmenter that came with Windows Vista and it seems to do the job well organizing my hard drives.

+1
I use the whole Auslogics package... I bought it lol :D
Although the latest version seems to be a bit sloppy with defragging... Still way too much eye candy, of course

I tried an old version of Perfectdisk a while ago, and I preferred Diskeeper at that time. I still use Diskeeper (2009 Pro ATM) and it's awesome since it can run on full auto without any supervision at all...also defrags system files, page file (on boot-time) etc.
