Defragging Hard Drive

I just did a defrag on a Maxtor hard drive that took most of the day to complete. I used Piriform Defraggler. I went from 27% fragmented to 16% fragmented. Is this an indication of something? Do you think running it again would do any good? I have defragged PCs before, but only needed to do it once.

The dive size is as follows: 160 GB total, 27.5 GB (19%) used, 118.0 GB (81%) free

It all depends on how full the partitions are. If you're under around 15% free space, a drive can't fully be fragmented as it needs space to move files around.

There is only one partition and 118 GB free space out of a total of 160GB hard drive. It only has 27.5 GB of data on it. I was wondering if defragging again would help or is this the best it can do?

Downloaded Auslogics Disk Defrag and it works great. Only 2 hours and it cleaned it up just fine. Think I'll start using it from now on. Thanks for the tip and he advice.
