defragmentation question

Helo all,
here is my question:
last day I was trying to defragment my cousins's PC, and then when the label reaches 34% it sends me a msg telling me that the OS can't be defragmented because an error in the file : C:\mne\all.zip
so does an error in that zipped file cause the computer not to be defragmented?
knowing that that zipped file is not corrupted?

so, any suggestion?

How large is the zip file? Can you take it off of your machine and save it elsewhere?

u mean save it to cd and them put it back when I finish defrag..
by the way its size is about 3 MB

u can save it on D:, if are defragmenting C: and viceversa
