Hi,

I have changed my HDD to a SSD. The HDD is now used for data backup, but it is now almost full.
So, im looking for a way to delete folders that have been created by the older windows with my HDD, because i dont have the autorisation to delete any of these files/folders.

I dont have that much time to look for a solution so im asking you guys.

Thanks for the help :)

(Dont pay attention to the bad english, im french ^^)

You can delete anything that isn't your personal data. Did you clone the hdd to the sdd or just reinstall windows and all applications/games? So the following folders would be safe to delete.

windows folder
Program files
Program files(x86)

If you can provide a screen shot of what folders are listed on that drive, it would help.

I have reinstall windows on the SSD and thats it. The HDD still have the older windows folder and everything. When i try to delete a folder/file they tell me i need the authorization of "TrustedInstaller".

It happen on every folder that have been created on the older windows.

You could actually boot to a live linux cd and delete whatever you want without getting that message. Or even use hirens boot cd and boot to mini xp and delete. Not sure why you are getting that message though.
