Deleted temp files, but still cached? (IE7)

I'm on XP and I just upgraded from IE6 to IE7.

In IE6, when you delete all the temp files and you go back into a website which requires a login, it will prompt you for the ID/Password, even when you select "remember this ID/Password on this computer". Which is fine.

What I've noticed with IE7 is, when you select the "remember" option and you go to delete all temp files, you're still logged in. Is there somewhere else where the files are stored?

are you clicking remember me on the actual website if so deleting your cookies will clear this. If internet explorer 7 it's self is asking you to remember user names and passwords then it's stored somewhere else that won't be cleared when you clear all of your temporary internet files.

Sorry, I should rephrase myself. But yes, I do select "remember me" on webpages and yes, I do delete the cookies including passwords in IE7.

hmm, thats really odd you should have to login again if you actually get all of the cookies deleted. you could go into the temp folder and delete them manualy rather than doing it through internet explorer.
