Deleting a File

Hi all!

I got a file on my D: drive and it will not delete. When I try to delete it, here is the error message:

Cannot delete file: It is being use by another person or program.

Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

This is a home issue. My laptop is not connected to any network. I have closed all applications and even try to restart the laptop. Still, the file will not delete.

Does any know why this file can not be deleted?

if it still doesn't work, you can backup other files, and than formate your D drive

have you tried just starting in safe mode that may help
