Deleting a hard drive

Basically, I was wondering how to delete everything that is on my hard drive. I have too many problems with it and just want to erase everything. Thanks

Annoying an admin is not a reccomended course of action. But I guess I have to spoonfeed you at least once before I can justify a ban:
1. If he has the problem as described (which neither of us actually know) then post#2 is sufficient to deal with that. But what if it's not that drive thats giving us a problem? (i.e., we always tell people to put drives into working computers to get them working)....
2. Now to conver the scenario where it's not the OS partition on the OS drive, we include post #3
Now continuing this pointless banter is really not ideal.
 
If you want to get rid of everything e.g. format then pop in your xp disc (if that’s your os) and you can wipe the hdd just before you do a reinstall
or boot from a startup floppy and format c:
