deleting files

I want to completely delete my 2009 Quicken and start over, since mine has gotten corrupted. How can I start over with a clean slate? I have uninstalled, and when I reinstalled it, all of the previous entries come back. Please help!:(

Didn't it have the option to delete all custom data? I found this link which should do the trick. I had written some instructions prior to finding this which were pretty close:

You could look in Program Files / Quicken(?) and delete and files/folders. You could also look in the hidden folders like Documents and Settings / Username / Application Data / Quicken(?) or Documents and Settings / Username / Local Settings / Quicken(?).

Try this .
uninstall and goto explorer/program files and delete the directory.
Goto start/run/ type ' %appdata% ' (not the quotes) with %.
Delete any occurrence of the program.
Could also run CCleaner then reboot and reinstall.
