Deleting icons from the main screen on your computer

How do you delete all the icons on the front page of your monitor- just right click on your mouse and then click delete? Or go into remove/ add in the control panel?

If you want to delete the icons right click then delete. If you want to uninstall what you want to delete go to your control panel and Add/Remove programs etc.

Isnt it the case that sometimes you arent just deleting shortcuts or uninstalling. That you have go to the folder where the shortcut is saved and delete it there? e.g. with a word document.

That would be for deleting the word document.

For just icons, just right click and then click delete.

To remove a program, you then go to add/remove programs.
