i have 2 temp folder and they are in C:\Windows\temp and in C:\Users\user'sname\AppData\Local\temp

i wanna delete all files inside coz i wanna make more room, can I??????:confused:

The folders themselves were put there by the Windows installer. When you run an installer while onine and not starting it from a disk or stored in a folder the files are temporary opened in one of those to see the installation go on.

As far as any files remaining you need full adminstrative permissions and simply browse to them for a manual deletion of anything found. There's nothing there critical for system processes to worry about.

Yes, you can delete all files inside. If it says you cant delete b/c it's being used by another program then just exit all your programs then delete. You can not get rid of the folder itself though.

Temp folders mean precisely that temporary. In fact one of the reasons that CCleaner is popular is from searching the drive to located and remove now useless temp folders to free up drive space. The installers for games and other types of programs create their own folders seen at the root of C if not found in the Program Files directory.
