I have a hard drive out of an old HP. I want to delete the stupid recovery partition that's on it. Is there a free program that can delete the recovery partition?

If you're using Vista, you can just do it with Disk Manager. Just format it and add it to your main partition. If you're on XP, you can still format it, but you'll need some application to merge the partitions... I'm not sure of a free one.
