Dell 1200mp projector

I'm not sure if this is in the right section, but it's my best guess. Anyway...

I'm looking at the Dell 1200mp projector (link above), which is 800x600 native resolution and up to 1400x1050 with autosynch. It is going for $800canadian and I can get it for $680canadian.
-Is this a good projector?
-Will it run movies and games on 1400x1050?
-Will it run movies and games on 1280x960 or 1280x1024? (I'm kinda
unfamiliar with this autosynch thing)

usually windows will detect monitor/projector resoltion on the default.
so yes it should in fact configure itself perfectly.
