Dell 3000 keeps rebooting! Help!

Yeah, I got that with my old computer. I tried to replace the motherboard, and I had slight success, but when I replaced the motherboard and the PSU at the same time, the computer seemed to work fine. It is usually a process or something on the motherboard that makes the PSU overload. This is what was happenning on my machine in my signature. Thats an understandable LOT OF POWER! Your computer might simply have another hardware problem, but it would help if you posted up some things like the motherboard info, processor, psu and maybe even the videocard. Try asking one of the other guys about this before replacing any parts though, they might have another solution for you.

Most strain on the PSU is at the first startup, I doubt that it would "overheat". Dell does not overestimate, but neither does it underestimate.
