Dell Bios

Hey I have a dell computer and I was wondering if I can get new bios versions so I can flash the bios and unlock the part that controls O/C?

Nope. Dell mobos only accept Dell bioses, and from what I know no dell bioses support overclocking. What type of dell do you have? An XPS might have a slim chance of O/C support in a bios.

i dont think any dell even a XPS would have a chance of being able to overclock it if it was made by dell.

you wont be able to overclock your computer cause its a dell and dells hack out the overclocking parts so you cant overclock. but you can use windows based overclocking programs to overclock but most of the time they dont work well and when you restart the overclock resets back to stock speed.

Yeah, unfortunately, your going to have to resort only to Dell's site for BIOS updates. Dell along with most major manufacturers lock the BIOS so you can't overclock. I'm sure there are mods you can do or perhaps workarounds but, that's not my style. Google it perhaps and see if you can dig something up
