Dell case, other mobo.

Well a family friend gave me her dell to fix. The problem was already stated to be the mobo.

So anyways it looks like a micro atx would fit fine, from just a quick glance. However I was wondering if the dell power/ reset switches from the case would work on a non dell mobo. (on second look I highly doubt it)

And I'm guessing that the psu would work with a 20 to 24 pin convertor. Not like I'm really going to trust that psu anyways.

Yeah the case Power and Reset switches should work on any motherboard, u`ll have to refer the the mobo manual too find the correct pinout.

it really just depends, not all cases will work, when i was gutting my hp case, i figured i would use the case for my build, but i wasnt so lucky the power cable was all clumped together as one and would work on my board.

Thats the same with Dell. Because of that reason I doubt it would work.
