I have a Dell Dimension 9100 with 2.8 ghz processor and 3 gigs of ram. This is beyond the requirements for Windows 7. However, once installed Windows 7 is fine, however once you start to do anything like install a driver, 9 times out of ten it freezes. Once restarted the computer goes into a windows basic type of mode and if you try to go to firefox it says something about access path not found.
I have used safe mode and it helped a little, but still freezes. Drivers are very hard to install. I have made sure that the hdd was formatted correctly etc.
Has anyone had this issue.
