Dell E1505 Gaming

How fast do you think a Dell E1505 would be good at running games like Command and Conquer: Generals (At least 20 FPS at low settings)? My brother wants a laptop that is cheap, and good at gaming and just playing on the web. I configured it with:

512 MB RAM
Core Duo T2300
ATi Mobility Radeon X1400

It's the 2nd from the right here, with the standard options except for the X1400 upgrade.
If you know of a more powerful laptop for a similar price, please let me know.

that could probably run it at high settings if you improve the ram.

Thanks. I hear all the magazines that think less than 40 FPS at the absolute highest settings is unplayable, but really 20 at low settings is okay for anyone once you get used to it. I used to think any laptop without a X1600 wasn't able to play games at all.
