Ive got a Dell computer here that has the green snorkle. At first glance it looked like a 80mm fan but its too small. The 120 is too big.

Newegg sells both a 90mm and a 92mm fan.Anyone know right of the top of thier head what a Dell Dimension 4300 has for the combo HS and case fan?

I cannot say for certain, but I believe Dell uses 92mm ones in that setup. Do you need it replaced? The fan/HSF assembly can be very tricky to get off if you've never done it before.

What's the Dell model number?

The heat sink on this does not have to be removed. The fan on this model just has a plastic scoop on it and it hinges on the back of the case.Kind of neat how that works.

I went on dells website.Looks like they put a fan sensor on this model which means I have to use their fan or else the customer will have to hit F1 on start up when it displays a screen that says no case fan detected.

Thanks for info and you were right,,it was 92mm

Ahhh, OK. I thought it was one of those 'front fan --> HSF -->vent out the back' type setups. My bad.
