Hello, my Toshiba laptop motherboard just fried and it's been a pretty big financial loss for me, because it's warranty just expired.

So I was browsing around for new laptops and I wanted to check on the reliability of the Dell I1525-121B Laptop. I don't want another dud like the Toshiba, as I won't be able to afford to keep replacing laptops like this.

The laptop has a 160GB hard drive, a 2GB DDR2 memory, and an Intel Dual-Core Processor. It is $499 at Best Buy. If anyone has any information on how these work, it would be greatly appreciated. I want to know if they would be recommended.

No idea about exactly how it works, as I've never owned or used one - but in many people's opinions, Dell computers are reknowned for their reliability and stability. You could try finding something at Notebook Review, or ask around at a local PC store. If I found a Dell that did what I wanted, and I needed a laptop, I'd have one.

I have been using my 1525 (mine is custom built) for a couple months now and not a single problem has occurred from it.

That is a good deal. I would go with it, unless you can find a better deal.
