I am working on laptop, was intending to wipe the HD and reinstall everything however i will lose office 2003 as i don't have the original disk with the product key. I can get the product ID from the computer but i need the product key. Is there any way off getting this without having to go and pay microsoft? All utilities that i have tried only give me the product ID.

Nope, you will definitely need the install CD for it to work properly.

Jellybean will only give me the product ID, not the product Key.

I am sorry , you are wrong. the program would be totally useless if it gave you the product id, I have yoused for over 3 years to find and swap out windows xp cd keys. I have never used it for office. I did research on the net AND ppl have used it for cdkeys in office. DL it and try , that is all i can say.

ps you can not swap out the cdkey in win 2000 or windows 2003

it will also work for win 98, me and nt4.0

i took my own advice and ran MJB , seems it does NOT have the capabillities to find office cd keys, so much for info on the net, still a great program for cd keys. for OS

Yes its annoying, need to contact Microsoft for the Key. That costs 50£. No way.... Must be a way to get them
