Dell inspiron 5100 beeping

Hello, I am taking a shot at fixing this Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop. When powered up It gives 3 beeps then one more a short time after. Nothing shows up on the LCD. Any ideas? thanks
 
Laptops are very hard to diagnose... Anything that's removable, be sure it's seated correctly...and that's about all you could do. I havn't checked the specs of that machine, but if it has dual channel, try running as single.
 
Also, search on google for beep codes on google and see if you can find one that matters the pattern. I would do it and get back to you, but im about to go to sleep. lol
