Dell Inspiron 9200 Charger/Charging Problem

Hi...I received a Dell Inspiron 9200 as a payment from some who bought a car from me...The charger has a little beep and the green light on it does not light up...I also plugged the charger into the notebook and no lights come on the notebook indicating its charging...I cannot turn on the notebook bc I guess its battery is dead...Do you think there is something wrong with the notebooks charger...Please someone help me out with this..Thank you..

I think it is the charger...Bc I was on the Dell website and I seen a pic of the green light on when charging and mine doesnt light up..And there is a little tear in the wire so that might be the problem..I'll try to find a deal on a universal power source..Thanks
 
call dell for a replacement:D

if they dont let you, call again!!
annoy them!

I m serious, thats wut i did to get a refund. called @ 7 am in the morning, 4 PM everyday to the same guy for 3 days:D

I got the laptop from someone else though..And I dont know there info ya know..Idk
