the problem is....that pc can't detect the dell keyboard...but i tried this keyboard using pc with procie intel celeron 2000 something Mhz (os xp n 98) n it work....may i know why this thing happen?

I'm guessing that your current keyboard is using the PS/2 plug (circular), and this keyboard is USB (rectangular). Therefore, I would guess that the problem is that your motherboard doesn't activate USB through the BIOS, and it is up to the OS (Windows 98 in this case) to load the USB drivers. So, in short, the only way to fix this problem is to get a new motherboard, or since this is a Dell computer, a entirely new computer...

Oooh! Just thought of something else, you can just go down to your local Radio Shack or electronics store that should have an adapter to go from PS/2 to USB. If you go into a store and tell them that's what you're looking for, they'll know exactly what you're looking for.

the keyboard work nice in other pc...i try this keyboard in win98 n winxp, the diferent only these two pc are pentium celeron d but the first pc only....forgot...but the speed only 700 smthing...is it because procie?

it doesn't work at all (Kobian KOB 810e FSFX ---> dell keyboard can't detect).....after booting bios...then it stop because can't detect keyboard...i try to use any other keyboard..can detect n work properly...i don't think its keyboard port..how bro??

Must be something with that particular model of keyboard and that particular model of keyboard, have you tried other keyboards than these particular 2?

broo....actually i got 2 dell keyboards with me now....n both of them can't use in that pc (Kobian KOB 810e FSFX - Intel Celeron, 766 MHz)....but both of them can use in pc with procie higher than this ( i tried to pc with procie speed more than 2000 Mhz - Intel Celeron D)....n one more thing....only these dell keyboard can't use in Kobian KOB 810e FSFX - Intel Celeron, 766 MHz....is it because the procie bro?
