I purchased 5 Dell laptops on behalf of friends just before Christmas. They were Vostro 1520. Lately 4 of the 5 owners have started experiencing problems. When they go on the net, the kepboard will not type anything so they have to close out of the net & start again. One owner contacted Dell and was asked by the technician to run some technical test. The result lead the technician to conclude that the problem is a software one and that they would have t pay €80 to have it fixed. Has anyone else had this problem. I dont need to remind people that there's a recession & purchasing a laptop was seen as a good investment by these people instead of wasting money on rubbish for Christmas.
