Dell latitude Types Jibberish

Whats up with this new trick from my laptop???

If I type anything, it looks like this : 6ui8uu67

DO I need to send it back to Dell or what?????

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would get in contact with dell about that one, my guess is that the keyboard is screwed as they can do some funky things when they're messed up
 
I've seen similar things before and a reformat fixed it...if that doesn't work then contact Dell or whomever you purchased it from
 
yea, just call them up. and start complaining, its wat they are there for, #1 customer service, so take advantage of it. haha. reli tho, call them.
 
It could be the os setup language. I remember reformatting my os and installing windows it asks what country language you want, I'm Canadian so i picked Canada so then when its all installed I kept typing jibberish, well, like french letters, çàéó. So I reinstalled the os with United States 101 and it was normal. Maybe yours is setup as some other country
 
Check that you haven't got numlock on, as the button for it can easily be accidentaly pressed on laptops, and give an output of similar effect

Bought the laptop 2nd hand (ebay) it WAS typing fine then one day........... Jibberish!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrr.
