Dell Latitude vs customized HP

Customized HP ----Purchased from a copmuter shop pre used but rebuilt

Now If there is anything else I should try and add to try and help justify which one of these laptops are for the best personal use. Which in hands I will most likely want the one witch will run games the fastest. And yes I am aware that neither of these are made for gaming, just looking for the better choice. The price is none since this is a trade if i choose to do so, I have both laptops in my possesion to decide on what i choose. I plan on testing the dell out since i have already used my HP frequently to know how it works and see if there is a advantage to this Dell Latititude. I also do understand for the most part HP's are a well named brand, though searching for input on the subject would be appreciated.

I myself would get the Dell as I do not like Celeron processors as they tend to be slow cause of the smaller cache. It also depends on what type of cdrom drive is installed in each, which you never mentioned.

Side Note- Also seems the video on the Dell runs slow and loads every 2 -3 seconds, i'm sure there is a quick fix for that just have not looked into it. Ofcourse I could just sit there and let it load all the way which i would to watch a vid all the way. But not sure if this would affect a Online game play.

Well, both of those drives are just dvd/cdrw combo's, not dvdrw's or anything. So you can't burn a dvd.

When you say it loads every 2-3 seconds what do you mean? Are you downloading something online and watching it? Thats a buffering issue.
 
RE: Video play

For instance I go on to Youtube or say I was on the Call Of Duty main web pahe wanting to watch a preveiw of the game. The first thing the video does is load witch is normal. The video then will show the first clip of the film witch lasts 2-3 seconds and then stops, Loads some more then played another few seconds, and this continues on. Buffering issue does sound right. Since if i were to pause the video and let the entire vid load from start to end i can watch it just fine all the way through. If buffing was the issue, how would I go about fixing that issue?
