dell m992 monitor problems.

i just got this dell monitor yesterday,and i plugged it in, and the picture was wavy and mostly in the middle, and it did get better as it warmed up. then the picture went black and has not been working since. does anyone know how to fix this?

this could just be a small problem, check all leads are in correctly. Does the monitor have any buttons below or to the side of the screen to adjust the picture?

nope not cords. the only buttons are power, bright, contrast, and screen movement. and i tried them all

Did your last monitor work fine? is it the same connection as your last monitor (DVI/VGA?)

when you say it hasnt been working since, does it not come on, no power lights etc.?

the power light acts like if the monitor was still working, and you can still hear the static inside the monitor when you turn it on and off. and you can hear it buzz.
