Dell monitor flashes the black.

I have a Dell model E153FPc LCD monitor and it just died. If I hold a light up to it I see everything in color, but it's as if the light buld died.
I get a 3 second flash of the clear color monitor screen, then the screen goes black, but if I hold a flashlight on the screen I can see everything in color, but the bulb seems out.

Could it be the bulb or power componet?

I Fixed it myself!

I decided to open the 15" DELL monitor even through no body answered this post.
I found a bad Radial Capacitor on the power inverter, and removed it. I resoldered in a new capacitor and the monitor is working again.

I had hoped this forum would have helped me with ideas and information from others on this site to get me going in the right direction, but I guess most people here don't know any more than I did when I started this task.
