Ok, so I was planning on either being cheap and buying a Hanns-G 19" widescreen, or going "expensive" and buying a 19" Samsung monitor in the 200-300 dollar range. Well, I was looking at Extreme Overclocking at an lcd guide...and then I was looking at the Dell website, and here's what I saw:

Dell 1680x1050 339 dollars. 300cd/800:1ct.

Dell 1600x1200 359 dollars. 300cd/800:1ct
The widescreen one really excites me because I have been weary of buying an lcd cause I don't know what to do. Cheap means more chances for a bad panel...but a Samsung could be bad too. Then I see these for these prices, being Dell which is what I'm looking at right now (girlfriend has a 17" dell lcd w/ tv tuner that looks nice, though low on contrast). And for some reason, I trust a Dell more then even a Samsung, considering all the cheap LCD's that they provide for schools have no defects.
My question is, do you think its worth the extra 20 bucks for me to go for the 1600x1200 screen? I know this will really strain my graphics till I upgrade, and a purchase like this is really going to slow down my upgrade time cycle since I'd be using a decent percentage of money that was going to go towards upgrading to pay for this monitor. I'd like some opinions from you folks. I think I've offered good opinions to others, and I also value alot of the opinions you guys have here on the boards.
That said, can I also use Dell coupon's on monitors? Where would I look? It has a coupon input section in the checkout area, but I don't know where you'd look. That would REALLY be cool, even if it were a 20 or 30 dollar coupon.
Anyways, opinions please.
