Thinking of getting a Dell X51v

Anyone got any reservations on this device?

What i really want to know is what are the best options to go for....
was going to order on their website, but a bit confused by the choices of unit and the subsequent choices of memory cards/space some of which say they are included in the price...any recommendatons?

The X51V is a good unit, fast enough, but a little fat and heavy. But you get a lot of power for videos all that. I've got an X30 collecting dust. It's a good unit, but I have no use for it since laptops are getting cheaper and smaller nowadays. The X30 was a lot thinner and lighter, same processor speed, but the X50's performed much better. If you need a PocketPC, I'd recommend it. I'd also recommend a few HP's too, Asus' MyPal are pretty nice too. As for the media cards, you can always buy them later and not for the Dell price.

just looking at those Asus units - they look pretty good. Which one would be the one to go for?? How are they compared to other pdas???

The Asus ones, I have to admit I've only seen 1 since we dont currently carry them (will in the future). But with one that I saw, the quality was pretty good. The screen was very nice, very close to the screen on my X30, but just a tad sharper. Color was pretty even throughout. I think the Ipaq is still one of the smallest and lightest though.
