Dell or hell?

Have any of you tired to go through Dell tech support. it is the worst customer service I have ever gone through. Just wondering if anyone else has gone into the gates of dell lol
 
the customer service depends on what you buy. If you get extended service or gold service or something like that it really is excellent.
 
8 hrs and 45 mins on the phone with them trying to get my computer to boot after performing a bios update. I learned sometime its better just to ask for a tech who is american.

Wow. My longest was three hours with an Indian I could hardly understand.

my grandma spent an hour trying to get her laptop battery replaced from hp, if you think thats bad, but from what i understand they just read off a list of problems, and if they cant find it they hand it over to an advisor
 
I actually got through to an normal techie in Texas once, and I was all happy, but then he was like "what the.. how the heck did you get this number?" and he promptly transferred me to some Asisan dude who, of coure, couldn't speak English.

the only company that I've called and gotten an American was the cable company when my internet wasn't working.
