I just bought a Black Dell ultrascan p1110 21", and it has a high pirched whine to it when I am in certain display modes. Seems mostly 1024, for instance, 1280X1024 (which is what I want to use) and 1360X1024. so it must have something to do with the second number at 1024. If I switch the display to 1280X960, the whine completly goes away. but the screen is not the right shape. If I goto the OSD, the rates on the bottom are only 64.0khz/ 60hz, if that changes, maybe the whine will go away? I have tried changing refresh rates, nothing. The noise isnt loud, but it is an annoying pitch thats driving me crazy. Please help me, im desperate to fix this, as I love this monitor. I really appreatiate any input.
