Dell SuperSavings?

Hey everyone, I've pretty much decided on the 15 inch Dell e1505. Now, they have a 35 percent discount on the computer if you go http://www.dell.com/content/products/features.aspx/entnb_e1505?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs and select the one jwith memory upgrade and 35 percent.
Now off a site http://www.notebookreview.com/dellCoupon.asp , it shows that you can receive 450 off if you enter the code. My question is, can I use the 35 percent AND the code? If so, then I could get a really great computer for like 1,050.
Thanks.

You can only use one coupon code at a time.

But if you spend over $1999.99 on an Inspiron notebook, you can get $750 off using the code on this site.

Thanks man, that's what I'll do. You think the e1505 is good? THe ATI x1400 will probably play my games like BF2 right?

I actually used to have the E1505 with a Core Duo 2Ghz and an x1400. I was able to play CSS around high settings and FEAR around medium-high settings perfectly fine. It will run BF2, but probably on medium-high settings.

Those are very good notebooks, I highly recommend them. I put Doom 3 on my firends and I was able to play it on high settings. The have a very nice widescreen display and seem to be very well made. He has 1.66Ghz Core Duo and 1GB of RAM and it's smokin' fast.

I have a question, is this computer very heavy? hahahaah this computer will be great. I'm getting 2 gigs of memory, ATI x1400, 100 gig 7200 rpm hard drive, 1.83 ghz Duo Core, improved sound. It's gonna be 1300 but it will be sweet don't you guys think?

It's not heavy at all, my friend's is very lightweight.

Can you tell me more about how the laptop feels? Are the keys alright? I'm not going to use the built in mouse much so that doesn't matter. Is teh screen pretty good?

The keys are comfortable and the screen is very, very nice. I do have one recommendation though, if your going to game, get the 2ghz core duo.

The laptop isnt too heavy, but its not in the lighweight catagory for 15.4" screens.

The keys are comfortable to type and/or play games with, however the mouse pad (forget what its called...) gets in the way when your trying to play games ocassinaly, your thumb will tap it and then you will loose control for a second of your character in the game.

It has a sturdy feel to it, it doesnt feel like its going to smash if you drop it a few inches from the ground.

The screen is very good if you upgrade to the ultra bright screen. Trust me, it's well worth the extra cash for it!

If you can afford it, you may want to look into it (and lower the HD to 80GB). However the difference between the 1.83 and 2.0 will only gain a few fps in games and benchmarks.

I am upgrading to the Ultra Bright SCreen. There is no 2 ghz option, so i'm getting 1.83, youguys think that is still alright?BTW How is that screen better over the regular?

The 1.86Ghz will be fine then.

The 1.83Ghz will be plenty of power.

The UltraBright screen is somewhat glossy, and has a higher contrast ratio and brightness, so images and videos look crisper and are more visually appealing. Also, the best screen you can choose has a resolution of 1680x1050, which is significantly better quality then the traditional 1280x800 resolutions.
