Dell upgrade

Okay, my mom has a Dell computer with a 3Ghz P4 that was purchased roughly 1 year ago, maybe less. She is looking to get a graphics upgrade from her onboard video. The mobo only accepts PCI (not PCC-E.)

The current onboard video is "intel 82865g"

She is not trying to run insanely high end games, merely Civilizations IV. What I am asking for is a list of the three different cards that would improve her graphics.

1. best that can be bought
2. middle ground (works, but not the top)
3. cheapest thing that will improve gfx abilities

Thanks for your help!

Didn't I reply to this??? Odd... The higher Geforce FX cards are probably pretty close to the x1300, but not as expensive(at least not last time I looked) But still, none of them are going to be a really great upgrade. PCI is very limited.

its probably better to just get a really cheap mobo and get a good solid card like an x800 or a 6600-6800

a $50 dollor mobo and a 100$ x800GTO would cost the same as the x1300, but they would quadruple performance
