Dell Xps 15 turns off/freezes within 30 minutes

I have a Dell xps 15 with Nvidia Gt-525 graphic card.The laptop just freezes within a few minutes especially when playing youtube videos or playing games.So I googled the problem and found that it is common and is due to overheating.So I switched permanently to onboard Intel graphics permanently and even uninstalled the drivers for the nvidia card.The laptop runs for a little longer time,but switches off within 30 minutes.I was noting the temperatures of the processor cores and the max before it switches off was 65-70*C.Is the temperature too high?Is it a hardware problem?Please suggest some solution.
 
Yes, it is too high. Try taking a can of compressed air and blow out the vents to see if anything comes out. You may have to take it in to get serviced.

I called up Dell and they said that they will have to replace heat sink,thermal pad and one more part.Cost of repairing would be 100$.Should I go with it or is it too costly?
