Dell XPS Laptop Heating Up

I have a Dell XPS Laptop and it seems that it's heating up. The temperature is around 98° and I can hear the fans speeding up and then cooling again. It does this by the minute. Does anyone know what's going on with it please?

Hard to say for sure..but have you tried a can of compressed air?..maybe your heatsink fins or the fans are a bit clogged with dust, fuzz..etc

I just did this with an old ASUS cause it was hot and making noises. There was a big chunk of dust in one of the fans

98 C is insane. I have opened up a lot of dells and pulled the heatsinks off and removed the thermal paste and reapplied . If you are not comfortable with that maybe you could remove the back and just spray some compressed air in there.
