If I purchase a DVD/CD burner in IDE interface, will it work on my Dell??

Depends on the type of dell you have, if your signature are the specs of your dell, it will work. (anything over windows98 should work with a cd/dvd burner) Make sure that you have a free IDE cable and power supply cable to connect it.

well...if we are taking your vocab seriously, then a Dell laptop would not work with a standard internal CD/DVD drive. he would need a converter cable or laptop drive to make it work. but i'm just being anal
