I don't fully understand the question.

General 184pin DDR I would say but it depends on the motherboard. Do you know the make/model?

Your probably running a 32Bit version operating system.

1st q: im missing a few pixels to the bezel at all the corners of the screen. the monitor settings wont allow me to adjust width/height of image as i could do on all my CRTs before this LCD. any software to correct this?

2nd q: i bought a compaq sr1630nx but dno make/model of board unless i open it .. is there software that can tell me?

3rd q: im running winxp pro.. im assuming i wont get a 64bit OS till vista/longhorn comes out, right?

thanks tweaker & all others

1. I don't know of any software that can do this, I think you may be stuck with it

2. CPU_Z will tell you a lot about your RAM. Assuming you intend to keep your existing stick and use both, i'd be looking for something similar to your existing one, as you are restricted by the slowest stick in your system.

3. Your pretty much right. There is a 64bit version of Windows XP available, but driver and program support is appalling. You're better off to wait

type is ddr sdram, channels: dual
freq: 200mhz

is this all i need to know when shopping for another stick? i looked at mem speeds on a site and i dont see 200 .. is it really 233mhz?

thanks
